Is fidelity really soooo important?
The older I get the less some things seem to matter to me.
I honestly am starting to believe it would be impossible for someone to be married and never ever ever cheat. Cheating is not just sleeping with someone, so if you're going to just talk to someone and get accused of cheating, then you might as well do whatever you want! you're going to be 'guilty' anyway right?
To me, cheating does consist of having a special relationship with someone other than your significant other. Actually, I would be WAY more upset to find out my significant other has had a deep emotional relationship with someone else, than if I found out they've just had a crazy night and it was purely physical.
Another thing, if I am, let's be hypothetical here, someone who enjoyes diversity... and different accents, looks, cultures, countries etc etc... how can I really VOW to only be with ONE PERSON for the rest of my life? I though I had the answer to that before, and now I know I don't.
I love traveling! But I hate packing and airports... but I still love traveling more than I hate airports. I consider myself luck to have been in so many great places. Traveling is not only fun but it really opens up your mind to different cultures, beliefs and people. I think the fact that I have taken the time to listen to other people, and just learn what they are about has made me a much better person.
